There’s a special magic to mornings—the quiet, the fresh air, and the promise of a new day. At YogManthan, we believe the first 20 minutes after waking can transform your mood, boost your health, and help you shine your brightest. Here’s how you can create your own mindful morning ritual:

1. Wake Up Gently

Instead of reaching for your phone, start with three deep breaths. Gently stretch your arms overhead and roll your shoulders—notice the sensations in your body as you wake.

2. Sun Salutation (Surya Namaskar)

This classic sequence wakes up all your muscle groups, improves circulation, and boosts energy. Even 4-6 rounds can make a huge difference. Move slowly, syncing breath and movement.

3. Seated Meditation

After your stretches, sit comfortably and focus on your breath. Try a simple affirmation, like “I am calm, I am energized, I am ready for today.” Stay for 3–5 minutes, letting your mind settle.

4. Gentle Twists and Forward Bends

Add a gentle seated twist and a forward fold to release any tension in the back and shoulders. Hold each for a few breaths, relaxing your neck and jaw.

Ask yourself: “What do I want from today?” It could be patience, creativity, or joy. Carry that word with you as you move through your day.
